(Second Sunday of Lent)
Life’s Measure – Guest Sermon by Rev. Mary Davis
(First Sunday of Lent)
January – February
During the first two months of 2020 we made our way through a series of texts that reminded us of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship doesn’t just happen, it’s the product of following Jesus in intentional ways – ways that make a practical difference in our daily lives. There is nothing more important we can do with our lives than sharpening our focus on Jesus as we aim to follow him.
In these texts we saw the difference that Christmas makes – the impact of the reality of God coming to us in the person of Jesus Christ. We started the new year off by setting our sights on Jesus and what it means to follow him.
