Weekly Check-In - July 5, 2025

"God, help us sow seeds of the Spirit each day so that we might reap a harvest
of forgiveness, grace, and radical love. Amen." -Rachel Gilmore

Two weeks ago we had an Elijah story, last week a story with Elijah and Elisha, and this Sunday, tomorrow, we'll have a story around Elisha from 2 Kings 5:1-15. Tomorrow's story is about a commander of the army of the King of Aram, who had a skin disease and is looking for an answer. The search for that answer brings him to Elisha. We'll unpack what happens. Tomorrow is also the first Sunday of July and as the first Sunday of the month it's Communion Sunday at Hebron - join us as we are fed at the Lord's Table.

Also, back on Pentecost many of you answered two questions on two strips of paper. Twila is finishing up the way that these will be displayed and I know that at least one or two folks mentioned they have not turned theirs in, but intend to. You can absolutely still do that. And if you haven't done it, but would like to you can still write your answers down and turn them in to us. Here again are the two questions:

On one paper, write a way that you would like to see the Holy Spirit move in your life or in the life of someone close to you.

On the other, write a way you would like to see the Holy Spirit move in the world.

You can turn your answers in to me (George) or to Twila.
